(US) - Harvard Engineering signs sole agreement with Venture Lighting allowing for the distribution and sale of Harvard’s LeafNut solution in the USA and Canada, cementing a long standing working relationship between the two companies.
LeafNut is a wireless controlled management and reporting system for large deployments of outdoor lighting. Deployed worldwide, the product uses an innovative Central Management System (CMS) to remotely monitor and control each individual light.
“Harvard’s driver and wireless controls expertise and knowledge is unmatched in the industry today,” said Ken Hawley, vice president of sales and marketing at Venture Lighting.
“Combined with Venture’s sales, marketing, operational and service support network, we have the perfect partnership for developing the opportunities for LeafNut in North America,” Hawley added.
The deal marks another significant step in Harvard’s global expansion plan, which recently saw the company open an office in San Diego, California, while continuing to provide a bespoke Custom LED placement service from the UK.
Antony Corrie, Vice President at Harvard Americas, commented: “Venture’s extensive knowledge of the high power lighting market will allow the company to introduce LeafNut’s control management capabilities to a broader customer base.”
