ILE to unveil new identity at conference

(UK) - The Institution of Lighting Engineers (ILE) will officially launch their new name, the Institution of Lighting Professionals (ILP), at their annual conference taking place in Warwickshire, England on 22nd - 24th September.

The conference will bring together many top quality speakers in the UK from lighting engineers to designers, where they will be presenting a wide range of important topics including the latest street lighting energy research, a suitable lighting strategy for the UK and many more. The three day event will include a 27 stand exhibition where professionals can meet product and service providers, attend  technical briefings to find out the latest information, and opportunities to network at the YLP festival, champagne reception and presidents dinner.

The incoming President Alistair Scott will be revealing the new image and the exciting future ahead for the institution.

The ILE is the UK and Ireland's largest and most influential professional lighting association, dedicated solely to excellence in lighting. Founded in 1924 as the Association of Public Lighting Engineers, the ILE has evolved to include lighting designers, consultants and engineers amongst its 2,200 strong membership.
