Gregory joins Cooper Lighting

7 July 2011 10.30 BST

(UK) - Paul Gregory leaves Concord for Cooper Lighting and Safety as Specification Sales Director.

Based in Doncaster, Cooper Lighting and Safety Ltd is responsible for three separate brands: Crompton Lighting, Menvier and JSB. Crompton Lighting is well known in the commercial lighting sector, while Menvier and JSB are market leaders in emergency lighting as well as having a strong position in the market for fire-detection equipment. Cooper Lighting and Safety Ltd is one of the operating companies of Cooper Safety.

Having spent fifteen years in specification lighting, Gregory brings to the position a wealth of market knowledge, together with extensive experience of interfacing with architects, consultants, lighting designers and end users.

He joins Cooper from Concord Lighting, where he headed up the company's London division for six years and, most recently, its specialist retail lighting team.

Speaking about his new role, Gregory commented: "I'm really excited to be joining Cooper Lighting and Safety. It is a great company that has completed some really fantastic projects, such as the colour-changing LED exoskeleton of the Yas Hotel at the Formula 1 racing circuit in Abu Dhabi."

He added: "I'm looking forward to working with Cooper to further develop the specification offer with innovative lighting and energy-management solutions for today's marketplace."
