RIDI Lighting has launched AXIDA, a new range of architectural emergency lighting luminaries. Benefiting from RIDI's renowned blend of great build quality, ease of installation and affordability, AXIDA is suitable for all types of commercial, education and industrial applications.

The new AXIDA range is the perfect complement to our existing range of affordable architectural luminaries,  says Mike Attard MD of RIDI Lighting UK. Those specifiers who already choose RIDI products will be pleased we've added an emergency lighting range, and those new to RIDI will I'm sure, be impressed with the quality, range of accessories and competitive price. 

AXIDA has options for surface mounting or semi-recessing and a toolles 'snap together' body construction of clip-on covers or exit sign blades to provide flexibility and a uniform design for each individual project requirement. Conforming to EN60598.2.22, the range also features as standard a Mackwell integrated AutoTest facility and external test button for peace of mind and hassle-free maintenance.

The range is available in as an 8W T5 3-hour emergency bulkhead luminaire with a body and diffuser made from UV resistant polycarbonate (compliant with the 850 degree hot-wire test) and constructed to IP40.The internal reflector is made from high reflectance UV stabilised polycarbonate and is suitable for use with 4Ah D cells. AXIDA also features high frequency gear incorporating a switch mode power supply.
